Lisey's Curls

Good Hair. Good Food. Good Life.

In May 2011, I cut off all of my natural hair due to heat damage. In one year, with the use of all natural hair products, I was able to grow my hair back to it's original length, while avoiding heat damage and severe breakage. Also in May 2012, I completed my transition from being a vegetarian to eating a vegan whole-foods diet.

Follow my tumblr for updates on my hair growth, my vlog, information about the products I use, and my diet. The lifestyle changes that I have made over the last two years have significantly improved the quality of my life. I am happy to share my experience and answer any questions my readers may have.
Two natural girls!
I’m posing here with my sister who is also natural! She has her hair blown out and pressed in this picture. I am wearing my hair in my second set of yarn twists these ones are smaller than the first with two strands of yarn instead of 3. The three strand ones seemed a bit to thick for me and were harder to manage.
